HOW TO CONTRIBUTE CLOTHES
GET A $2 COUPON FOR EVERY 'WARDROBE-WORTHY' ITEM
HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE CLOTHES?
Simply contact our team through our 'Contact' page, or by messaging us on Facebook or Instagram. We will then provide you with the details for collection (we make it as easy as possible!).

We have local drop off, local pick up, and Aus-Wide posting options available.

HOW DO I GET THE CLOTHES COLLECTED?
If you are within the Shepparton area (Shepparton, Mooroopna, Tatura, Toolamba, Shepp East, Congupna, etc), we can collect your items from you! We do collections each Friday morning.

We also have a residential address that we use as a local drop off point, that allows you to drop items to us any day/time that suits you best (even weekends and after hours).
​
If you are outside GS, you can post your items to us (and we will add the cost of postage to your thankyou coupon!).

Simply send us a message to organise the details.
WHAT IS CONSIDERED A 'WARDROBE-WORTHY' PIECE?
A 'wardrobe-worthy' piece is in like-new condition, with brand/size/care tags attached.
We ask that all items are washed before being contributed.
​
We won't accept items that are torn, dirty, stained, stretched, have pet-hair, have obvious signs of wear, or did not cost $10 when they were purchased new (eg. basic Kmart tees).

The rule of thumb is to ask yourself 'would I buy this?' and 'did this cost more than $10 when I bought it?'. If either answer is no then it probably won't be accepted.
WHAT TYPE OF ITEMS CAN I CONTRIBUTE?
We are currently accepting 'Mens' & 'Womens' adult clothing items, and all bodies are welcome and encouraged to buy from us!
We do not accept: children's clothes, swimwear, underwear, socks, sleepwear, shoes or accessories.
WHAT HAPPENS TO EXTRA ITEMS?
When you contribute clothes to us, any items that aren't 'wardrobe-worthy' will be donated or recycled. We will take care of this for you unless you request otherwise.

We cannot return your items to you. Once they are received by us it is our discretion to accept or not accept items in accordance with our 'wardrobe worthy' conditions, and any unused items will be donated/recycled on within 24 hours of sorting and will be unable to be returned to you without prior request.
HOW CAN I USE MY COUPON?
Your coupon will be emailed to you, and acts as a store credit that you can use to buy 'new' items from our online store!

Your coupon can only be used to purchase clothing, and can not be used to pay for delivery. Also please note that using your coupon will reduce your spend amount, which may cause your order total to drop below the 'Free Delivery' threshold which will cause a delivery fee to be charged.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY COUPON?
After we collect/receive your contributed items we will check that they are 'wardrobe-worthy'.
Once we have gone through them we will contact you and let you know how much your coupon is for (eg: 5 items = $10 coupon) and when it is ready to use. You will receive your coupon details by email.

We aim to process all item contributions within 48 hours of arrival.
WHY SHOULD I CONTRIBUTE CLOTHES?
We all have items in our wardrobe that we don't/can't wear anymore but that we don't want to give away or to sell, and so they end up taking up space or being thrown away.
The GV Wardrobe offers another option, to pass your beautiful items on for someone else to fall in love with, and to receive a small thankyou to spend on new items for yourself.

CAN I PASS MY COUPON ON TO SOMEONE IN NEED?
Absolutely. We encourage everyone to keep and use their coupons because we are grateful that you have shared your items with us and you deserve something special in return! But if you are certain that you don't want/need your thankyou-coupon then we can add the amount to our donations tally.

Each time we reach $1000 in the tally we donate 20 x $50 coupons to our local relief organisation, Shepparton Family & Financial Services, where they are passed on to those in need.
